How does 10-step Korean Skincare Routine works?

10 step skin care routine is focused on beauty and health of your skin.
We will help you to understand more about step-by-step Korean skin care system and you will see that it is not difficult and boring but it is easy and pleasant!

MAKEUP REMOVER

The fist step is to use oil based product to remove your makeup and any other oil-based product residue, like sunscreen.

CLEANSER

Step one and two combines into a double cleanse. The first step is to remove any cosmetics products from your skin and the second step is to clean dirt and sweat with foam and water.
A lot of traditional cleansers have a reputation in drying skin, that's not always the case! Our focus is on water based cleansers that are hydrating and balancing. In oder to help maintain and balance the skin's pH, it is recommend water based cleansers with a low pH, such as 5.5.

EXFOLIATOR

Exfoliator removes dead skin cells, improves the overall skin texture and helps to get rid of acne scars. it is recommended to use exfoliator once or twice per week. There are two types of exfoliators - mechanical and chemical.
Mechanical exfoliators use small particles to rub off dead skin (for example facial scrub).
If your skin is sensitive and have acne problem we recommend to use chemical exfoliator as it is more gentle on skin.
A wash-off cleansing mask such as a clay mask, peel-off mask or a bubble mask can also be enjoyed instead of an exfoliator.
After using chemical exfoliants, it's particularly important to remember to use sunscreen! Chemical exfoliants, such as BHA/PHA/AHA, make the skin more sensitive to sunlight.

TONER

It is an important step that returns your skin to its ideal state by balancing its PH (acidity) level, hydrates and prepares skin to get the maximum absorption of the products that get applied afterwards.

MASK

Masks are the heart of your Korean skincare routine. Sheet masks are a semi-weekly ritual that replenishes your skin's nutrients and moisture. Most commonly masks are classified into sheet masks, hydrogel masks and bio-cellulose masks.
If you made a mask you can skip steps 6 and 7 as the treatment provided by a mask is very concentrated and already contains the ingredients commonly found in essences and serums.

ESSENCE

It is water-based treatment that is lightweight and packed with moisturizing, protecting, and anti-aging ingredients. It helps keep skin hydrated, healthy, and balanced. In combination with cleansing and toning, it helps enhance the effectiveness of the treatment products applied afterwards.

SERUM

Serums contain potent ingredients that address specific skin issues such as fine lines, dark circles, hyperpigmentation, and acne. They are more concentrated in active ingredients and typically more viscous than essences.

EYE CREAM

Skin around the eyes is specially delicate and is much thinner than elsewhere on the body. Eye cream
usually contain a high percentage of active ingredients which help to treat wrinkles and brighten dark circles.
In addition to any skincare routine, it is recommend to use hydrogel eye patches.

MOISTURIZER

A moisturiser can come in the form of a lotion, sometimes referred to as an emulsion, or a face cream. It helps introduce more hydration, but the main job is to prevent moisture from leaving the
skin.

SUNSCREEN/SLEEPING PACK

Sunscreen is the easiest and most effective way to prevent premature ageing. Sunscreen should be your last step in the morning skin care routine.
Few times per week at the night-time you can apply a sleeping pack instead moisturiser. It maximising the nocturnal process of skin regeneration.
